Porsche is always looking to collaborate with innovative brands that resonate with the feelings of younger audiences eager for new experiences. While I have a soft spot for their 911 series, I wouldn’t think of driving anything else from this German sports car manufacturer. Or would I?

It seems Porsche has some tricks up its sleeve to intrigue loyal fans like me. Their latest project brings them together with Naughty Dog for the anticipated action-adventure game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, published by Sony. The story unfolds thousands of years in the future, featuring bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun, who finds himself stranded on an alien world while searching for a crime syndicate.

    Designer: Porsche

Porsche nails this vibe with the 984 Tempest NDX spacecraft, which is naturally the go-to space companion for the main character. Even though the story takes place in the future, it draws inspiration from nostalgic elements of the past, like the classic jukebox-style Sony CD changer. With confirmation from Naughty Studio leader Neil Druckmann, expect to find more retro stuff from the 80s in the coming weeks.

The design of the spacecraft is strikingly sleek, infused with a vibrant retro-futuristic essence. It’ll be fascinating to see when or if Porsche decides to make a tangible version of the 984 Tempest NDX for us to check out. Details about this luxury spacecraft, aimed at gaining intergalactic fans, are surely to come. The trailer is already looking amazing, and we believe Porsche will unveil the real-life model of the spacecraft before the PlayStation game hits the shelves.
