This year marked a special 50th anniversary for two beloved brands: Hello Kitty and Rubik’s Cube. The famous feline (actually a girl dressed up as a cat) enjoyed an array of celebrations and collaborations this year. Meanwhile, the colorful iconic cube have also launched several products to recognize their big milestone. As the year comes to a close, they revealed a collaboration certain to delight fans of both: the Hello Kitty Cuber.

    Design: Spin Master

This official Rubik’s Cube is actually solvable and comes as a limited edition cuber, which is a real cute twist on it. Instead of the regular vibrant colors it’s known for, this one features a mostly white 3 x 3 cube (6 sides of 9 squares) with simplistic illustrations of things like clouds, bows, and of course the iconic face of Hello Kitty. You’re gotta mix math, art, science, and a sprinkle of kawaii to finally solve it.

Much like the original Rubik’s Cube, you’ll face challenges (or get frustrated if you prefer) until you’re able to solve it and reveal the six faces of the Hello Kitty design. Upon completion, you can attach the character head to a stand that forms her body and slap on that recognizable red bow as well. Show it off with happiness or keep testing your skills over and over again.

The Hello Kitty Rubik’s Cube can be found at Barnes & Nobles for around $20. If cute cats aren’t really your thing, there are plenty of other Rubik’s Cube Cubers available from Sanrio, Marvel, DC Comics, and other pop culture brands.
