Typically, humidifiers are designed to do just one job—they are made to increase indoor moisture levels and they often resemble diffusers. Most of the products on the market might do the job, but there’s always potential to enhance both their functionality and design. One major drawback is their impact on the carbon footprint, as they can waste energy and may not be entirely hygienic. EDIR’s latest humidifier seeks to address these problems.

The Steam-Flow Humidifier isn’t just designed for “the most hygienic and pure humidification”; it also aims to reduce the energy loss that is usually associated with humidifiers. As for its aesthetics, it’s not just meant to be hidden away, as it’s supposed to blend beautifully with your home’s interior. It addresses the harmful issue of stored water leading to unhygienic conditions and is made using AI and ECO mode functions that carefully manage humidity levels and energy use.
This technology works through an isolation system, allowing it to heat only a portion of the water you put in the tank instead of heating all the water. Additionally, the tank is crafted from stainless steel 316, and all components that come into contact with water are also made from high-quality stainless steel, along with a removable silicone structure.
The humidifier has this distinctive look, resembling a printer or a compact air conditioning unit, but it sits on a stand that keeps it looking sleek. Although the legs of the stand are slightly flared out, it’s not the most space-efficient design out there, it should still work well for a relatively larger humidifier.
