Owning a luxury car is, well, a luxury. Only a few can afford it, those who’s privileged enough to have lots of money. The closest many of us come to feeling one might be at car shows, or if a wealthy friend lets you take it for a spin. If your dream is to own a Rolls-Royce, there’s a new way to make that dream come a little more close to reality.
Designer: Rolls-Royce
The iconic British car brand has just released a DIY miniature sculpture that you can build yourself. This creation is meant to give you a better insight into what makes the real car so expensive. Dubbed Cameo, this miniature is crafted from the very same materials as used in their actual production cars. It’s a collectible for devoted fans—or those dreaming of one day owning their own—and lets you create your personal “vision car” to inspire you.
This miniature model has a solid oak body paired with a polished aluminum chassis, mimicking the classic two-tone finishes you see on most full-size luxury cars. It’s assembled through magnetic connections, just like how the full-sized cars unite body and drivetrain. The components are 3D-printed and feature the brand’s iconic Arctic White leather, topped with self-leveling wheel center caps emblazoned with the RR logo.
Assembling this miniature yourself puts you right in the assembly line at Goodwood. Plus, there’s a wee driver included to really complete the vision, especially if you’re picturing yourself behind the wheel of this luxurious car.
