There’s something about levitating gadgets that catches the fancy of just about everyone, regardless of their age. Maybe it’s the anti-gravity magic that makes these cool items perfect for display on your desk, in your office, or even on a shelf in your living room. Whether it’s a speaker, desk lamp, planter, or even a mug – if it’s levitating, it definitely grabs attention! And now, if you’re into the world of electric vehicles, there’s a Cybertruck to add to this intriguing list.

Tesla has recently rolled out the Levitating Cybertruck, specially designed for fans who admire the unconventional, futuristic design of this all-electric pickup. Opinions on the Cybertruck are pretty divided among auto enthusiasts, and you might find yourself in one of two camps: those who love it or those who can’t stand it. Regardless, it’s been the talk of the town for over a year now. It’s no surprise that the levitating version of the Cybertruck was sold out in just minutes after its launch on the official Tesla shop.

    Designer: Tesla

The model, which is a 1:24 scale replica of the element-proof truck, ditches the wheels and instead levitates above a magnetic levitation base. This levitation happens thanks to an electromagnetic field set at just the right intensity to keep it hovering in mid-air. The levitating Cybertruck screams style and looks straight out of a sci-fi movie. Geeky fans will totally appreciate its silver-coated exterior that resembles the real deal, along with functional headlights powered by 14 LED lights and realistic taillights.

This 8.98-inch-long, 3.28-inch-wide, and 2.36-inch-tall accessory makes a great fidget toy too, allowing you to give it a gentle spin to watch it twirl in midair. Setting it up is quite simple: place the base on a flat, non-metal surface, hover the Cybertruck above the base until you feel the magnetic resistance, and then adjust it till it’s balanced. Once balanced, enjoy the mesmerizing magic of it hovering in thin air!

This limited edition collectible goes for $250, and we are really hoping it comes back into stock soon so you can snag one for your workspace. Tesla hasn’t given any indication of when—or if—it will restock this pricey desk accessory!
