Lou Tiny House, based in France, recently designed a unique house on wheels just for a client named Stephanie. She envisioned a cozy little home located in a beautiful spot with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees mountains and lush green fields. The goal was to create a space that fostered a deep connection with nature while supporting a minimalistic lifestyle. Their creation embodies the essence of a tiny home, blending comfort with simplicity, featuring an exterior that fits harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.
Designer: Lou Tiny House
The house features a rather traditional layout with no distinct indoor/outdoor spaces. It’s compact but feels cozy, thanks to the abundance of natural light flooding in. It includes a lofted bedroom and lacks a formal living room. A large bistro window provides service from the snack bar area, whilst the dining area is elegantly designed and spacious. The custom snack bar features multiple open shelves for storage. A simple bench with built-in storage offers seating, and the kitchen countertop extends out for a small snack bar.
The kitchen is kept simple, featuring small appliances like a mini fridge. The simple design helps keep the space from feeling cramped and cluttered. There’s a fixed ladder leading up to the loft, which is pretty space-efficient. It doesn’t take up much room, making way for a countertop in the kitchen. The lofted bedroom is secured by a full-width safety wall for privacy. A separate area has a metal rod to hang clothes along with long shelves for storage.
The tiny space is also well equipped with a small entrance area that includes hallway furniture. Theres an open cabinet built into the furniture, while a sliding white door leads into the bathroom. Inside the bathroom, there’s a custom-made vanity and small rustic shelves, along with a composting toilet. Stephanie’s little home was crafted just for her and is perfect for anyone looking to embrace a minimalist lifestyle.
