There’s likely two types of wine enthusiasts in the world: those who know everything about the vineyard, the grape varieties, and other nuances of the bottle; and those who simply enjoy the flavors of whatever they’re drinking. Most of the time, I find myself in the latter category, but sometimes, it’s nice to also know how old the wine I’m savouring is.

If you’re an occasional wine drinker, you may find this bottle concept appealing. The Wine Stopper, designed to resemble an analog clock, symbolizes the aging journey of the wine inside, though it’s not an actual indicator of the age.
We all understand that a wine bottle alters its flavors and aromas while still sealed. There’s also a “right time” to pop it open and enjoy. This wine stopper lets you symbolize the full aging cycle of your wine. It features a traditional analog dial that indicates the optimal maturation date for experiencing the wine at its best.
It seems like the “clock” is set manually to the side of the aging date and to the perfect taste “hour” for each wine type, be it red, white, or sparkling. It’s a fun way to learn a lil’ bit more about your drink before you go ahead and enjoy it.
